Seven Ages Theatricals return to tragedy for the 2025 Shakespeare in the Park performance of Macbeth at City Green. In this play, three witches advise the Scottish general Macbeth that he will be King of Scotland, so with the encouragement of his wife, Macbeth kills the king and becomes the new king. But the tale doesn’t end there, Macbeth kills more people out of paranoia, resulting in the eruption of a civil war to overthrow Macbeth and even more death.
Shakespeare in the park is FREE! You’ll want to bring blankets, chairs, and any refreshments you might want. With the wind off the lake, sweatshirts or long sleeves are recommended for evening performances. Well-behaved dogs are welcome!
In the event of inclement weather, the show will be performed at Jake’s, A Lakeland College Community at 529 Ontario Avenue in Sheboygan.
